At Cao Chocolates, we only use single origin cacao beans from small farms around the world. We have the commitment to bring you only the best chocolate bars using single origin cacao beans from Fair-Trade certified plantations and most of them with Organic certification. We proudly don’t add preservatives, oils, soy lecithin, or any other emulsifiers to our chocolate bars.Also, all our Dark chocolate bars are 100% vegan, gluten free and, dairy free.
Costa Rica 80%
This cocoa is grown on a small, family-owned farm in the eastern foothills of Costa Rica. The owners work in harmony with local flora and fauna, integrating native trees into the growing process to promote reforestation and create optimal levels of shade. At harvest time the beans are fermented in wooden boxes and then sun-dried to lock in their flavor.
Dominican Republic 70%
Dominican Republic is the home of very fine-flavor Trinitario trees. The cacao beans we selected are organic and fair-trade certified and has subtle notes of caramel and Vanilla.
We used premium single-estate Organic Brazilian Cacao that grow in Bahia, Brazil. This chocolate bar has a complex flavor with notes of nuts, dried fruits, and honeysuckle.
